*REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AS SEATING IS LIMITED TO 16 CHILDREN! The parent must add both their name and the child's name to the registration. Each child must be a separate registration, any registration with more than one child on it will be deleted. ANY CHILD NOT REGISTERED WILL NOT BE ADMITTED! These protocols are for everyone's safety and protection. Registration closes at 8 pm the evening before the event. 30-minute length. Stories, arts & crafts, felt board stories, music, and activities for children ages 3 to 5. Guardian is not required to sit with child/children but must stay in the Community Room. The story will be the same on Tuesday and Wednesday for the week. Please contact the library or cancel your registration if you cannot attend to open the spot up to someone else.

The Friends of the Library Garden Plaza entrance, located on 2nd Avenue West, is ground level and is accessible to the elevator. The beautifully landscaped plaza features inscribed brick pavers, cast stone benched and trees purchased by donors.
In the fall of 2009, the house and lot across the street to the north from the Library were purchased by the Library Foundation. A new and larger parking lot will be constructed on this plot. Demolition of the existing house was done in April 2010. The construction bid was awarded to Tooz Construction and was completed in late October 2010. Landscaping of the surrounding areas was begun in the fall of 2011 and was completed in the spring of 2012.
