Library Cards


Library cards are available for permanent residents/property owners in Stark, Billings and Slope counties free of charge.  For those living outside of our service area (within North Dakota), we offer a card for a $20 annual fee or $25 for a family.  Temporary residents can obtain a limited use card with a non-refundable $20 annual fee.

Physical proof of your address in our service area (no PO boxes)

Wireless Internet Access


WiFi access is available on the main level/north end of the library. NO wireless printing is available.
 
 

Public computer usage


Computers are available for patron and guest use. Usage is limited to two hours per day (unless approved for longer for educational use), and may be extended once for two additional hours if there is no demand. Printing is permitted in black & white for 15 cents per page and must be prepaid before printing.
 
 

Public computer policies 


Computer filtering is in place on all stations, thus some websites may be inaccessible.  Inappropriate use of computers/internet in the library will result in a cancellation of usage privileges with a ban of one year.  Public computer use is monitored by the library staff.

The Dickinson Press 1883 to present and North Dakota Census on microfilm
Bookmobile services to Stark, Billings and Slope Counties
AARP sponsored Tax aide during mid-February through April 15
Notary Public Service when notary is on duty.
 
 

Conference Rooms


Community Room for rental use when available (policies available upon request). Capacity 100—Reservations for use must be made, approved by library staff and deposit paid before reservation is official.  $35 for a up to a 4 hour block or $60 for 4 to 8 hours.
 
Small study area in lower level for sign-in use (policies available upon request). Capacity 8 for this room (reservations for use is available but not required).  This is not a room and patrons may come into the area looking for materials on the near buy shelves.
